A videoclip in which they tell about your brand or product. Video testimonials help to sell your hair to people who never heard of you or your brand before. Take One The set
Invite the client who did a testimonial to your store or another location if you prefer this. Because you do not have a salon or shop. Give her a special treat, she deserves it and … she will spread the word!
Make sure, before your client arrives to record the video, you have the set right. Look for a quiet place without too much background noise. Make sure you have a wall or background image that is in contract with the hair of your client. After all, what is a testimonial video about hair without hair!
Place a comfortable seat for your client and check what the best location is for your camera. Do not forget, it’s all about your client. She should be in the center of the attention.
Take Two The recording

Make sure to encourage your client to speak, nod with your head when she is talking. If you only stare at her without any emotion, because you only think of your next question. But she will most likely stop talking or in the best only give an exact answer to your questions. Let her speak in an enthusiastic.
Make sure you ask the questions most of your ideal clients will be thinking of. This again helps the audience to connect and to build a relation with the client doing the testimonial. The more trust and confidence, the higher the conversion ratio or sales.

Prepare the questions in advance, but do not share the questions with the client. This will make her more natural and less giving well prepared answers. Nothing wrong is some uhhh’s and hmm’s.

Load the video on YouTube and share the link with the client who performed in the hair testimonial video. She will love to share your video too.
Share the video on your website and your own social media platforms, keep track of the likes and shares. This will help you to make a better video next time. Do not forget to keep an eye on your sales, because at the end of the day, that was the objection in the first place.

First, what is the solution you offer to the world. Do you have a new hair brand that is an improvement for people who already buy your product or services? Or did you find a solution for people in another market? Did you discover a new market or niche?
Make sure you understand the group of people you found a solution for. This is essential to start the communication about your hair brand. You need to know to whom you are going to talk.
What is your communication ambition?
Now you know the people, your ideal client, you are going to talk with. If you know your ideal client, you can plan your marketing strategy. What will be the format you will use, what is the content and how will you create the marketing message.
You can only manage your campaign if you have goals and if you can track the impact of your campaign on these goals. You need to decide where you are going to market your message, how and how often.

If you want to get your hair brand on websites, make sure you adapt the format to the design and format of the website that will host your story. You get new clients if you keep Instagram private?
Do you use the Instagram Private option? Every day, I am in contact with women who are selling hair. I love it to hear their stories.To see their Facebook and Instagram. And to listen to their struggles and to work towards solutions. Some of them are in business for some time, but many just started.
One of the most heard struggles is the lack of sales. They have beautiful hair but nobody is buying the hair. How come?
To whom you want to sell?
My first question is to whom you want to sell your hair? Who are the ladies you want to look good and what do they have in common? Some people have the ambition to sell to the whole world. Others know the focus on a certain group helps to engage more. Get a real connection with your Ideal Client and they will buy from you.
I also like to ask for the social media you use, what kind of content do you share? Do you have pictures of yourself with creative hair styles. Do you publish pictures made on a photoshoot? Or do you just share pictures you found on the internet?
I recommend home-made pictures. Pictures of happy clients, your own hair or from a photoshoot.
To share pictures borrowed from the Internet do not help to tell the visitor who you are and why they should buy from you. And you want visitors to like you and your brand right, instead of a model you are not able to deliver the hairstyle.
Why you put Instagram private ?
Everything is fine up till now, but then too often I get an experience I do not understand. After the call with you, I like to visit your Instagram account. I want to see those pictures and to like them and share them. But then, you block me, you only give access to a limited number of visitors. Your account is private.
If you do all the effort, to publish nice pictures, please allow at least your Ideal client to follow you. Publish pictures with bundle deals, and some funny images that help your Ideal Client to connect.
You can make a private Instagram account, but please also open an account for your brand. You have something beautiful to share with the world, do not forget to put your account on public!

It is good to ask yourself the question on how much money you need to start a hair business, or any business. Because starting a business means you are willing to take risks. Not the risk to lose everything you care about, but calculated risks. For this risk and the investments needed, you should have enough money to start your business.

Or you can start to google hair stores, hair suppliers, and perform a market survey. You will have to invest more time to talk hair with a lot of different people, but you do not care. This is the fun part because it will stimulate your brains with many more new ideas! Ideas on how you will be different from the rest. Different from the competition.
Hire a coach
To hire a consultancy firm to gather the information about the hair market will cost you at least $ 1,000 to $1,500. Some have the information on the shelf and others will collect the data for you.

Now you have both the idea and the information about the hair market. It is time to start to analyze because the purpose of all this insight is to be different from the current stores in the hair business.

Did I do the right thing?
This is the phase with mixed feelings, the first time you will have doubts if all this was a smart thing to do. Suppliers who do not respond, samples to pay and smelly packages to open. The hair you will receive will surprise if you feel the hair slip through your fingers, so soft. Or it will hurt why you paid so much for a retail order of maltreated hair, of which you do not even know if its human or synthetic hair.
This phase does not only give you the highest level of stress, it will also cost you a lot of money if you do not manage to find the proper supplier.
